A product engineering firm built for the way India actually works.
We are a niche technology company building intelligent products across AI, software, cloud, hardware, firmware, and automation — engineered with the same care, depth, and discipline as anything built anywhere in the world.
Who we are
KWM Technologies is a small, deliberate team of engineers, designers, and operators based across India and the United States. We don't position ourselves as a consultancy, a services firm, or a generalist studio. We are a product engineering company — one that picks narrow problems worth solving and builds the kind of intelligent, scalable, market-ready software (and hardware) that real businesses depend on. KWM is newly incorporated, but the engineering lineage behind it runs back more than a decade — a new name on long-tested hands.
We started because we kept seeing the same gap: India's most important commercial ecosystems — wholesale markets, supply chains, traditional retail, regulated institutions — were being served either by enterprise software designed for somewhere else, or by hastily-built local tools that didn't last. Neither was acceptable. So we built our own answer.
Why we exist
India doesn't need more SaaS templates dressed up for our markets. It needs products engineered for the way our economy actually moves — with the same care, depth, and intelligence as anything built anywhere in the world.
That's the bar we set for ourselves. Every product we ship has to earn its keep with people who have real alternatives, real budgets, and real consequences if the system fails at 6am during peak market hours.
Beyond software — what it means to us
"Beyond software" isn't a slogan. It reflects what we actually build: products that live across multiple layers — cloud platforms, mobile apps, embedded devices, hardware integrations, AI workflows, data pipelines — all working as one coherent system.
A weighing scale that talks to a vendor's ledger. An AI agent that reconciles ten payment methods at end-of-day. A printer that issues receipts in the vendor's own language. A dashboard that watches twenty markets in real time. The "intelligent system" a customer experiences is rarely just an app — it's the orchestration of all of these, designed together, operated together.
AI-assisted engineering, not AI theatre
We use AI heavily in how we build — not as a marketing claim, but as a working discipline. AI helps us prototype faster, generate scaffolding, automate testing, and document continuously. But every line that reaches production passes through human architects who understand the system end-to-end.
The result: niche products built and refined in weeks rather than quarters, without trading away quality, security, or the architectural integrity that production systems demand.
This is what lets a small team build with the depth of a much larger one. It's also what lets us stay in narrow lanes and still go deep enough to ship products that matter.
Indian roots, global engineering mindset
We are unapologetically Indian — in our team, our headquarters, the problems we choose, and the customers we serve. We are also unapologetically global in our engineering standards. The two are not in tension.
India's markets demand more from technology, not less. Low-bandwidth mobile users, multi-lingual interfaces, devices three generations old, intermittent connectivity, vendor literacy gradients, payment-method fragmentation, regulatory complexity. Building well for India means engineering with discipline that any global team would respect.
A product-first company
We are not a services agency that occasionally builds products. We are a product company that occasionally takes on focused engagements with the right partners. Everything we do — engineering, hiring, partnerships, infrastructure — is structured around shipping and sustaining products that get better year over year.
KWM Vyapar is our first flagship. There will be others. Every one of them will share the same DNA: niche problem, deep engineering, human craft, real users.
A small team, built for depth.
The people behind KWM bring decades of combined experience across enterprise technology, financial infrastructure, AI systems, and the hard discipline of shipping software that real businesses depend on.
Twenty years across enterprise architecture, AI transformation, and large-scale platform delivery — most recently leading delivery at one of India's most consequential technology institutions.
Deep cloud-native and distributed systems background. Has built and operated payment, settlement, and high-throughput trading systems at scale for over a decade.
Bridges product design and applied machine learning — the rare combination that makes AI features feel inevitable rather than bolted on.
Building something that needs real engineering depth?
If you have a niche problem, a real ecosystem, and the patience for a product instead of a prototype — we should talk.
